Not by unemployment, or by Know Nothing recalcitrance, but by the Governor of Jakarta!
Seems the famous statue “Barry As A Boy With Butterfly” made some Indonesians angry, because our President, although attending elementary school in Jakarta and more popular in the country than he is in America, hasn’t done much for Indonesians so far.
Gorilla says: “Hopefully Barry will stop being a statue and start being a leader!”
Another terrorist mastermind manages to escape, this time in Indonesia.
The problem will all these hunting parties is that they’re mainly about propaganda and deflecting attention from a larger failure. We can kill some fish, but not apparently big fish. So the mission gets changed to nation building and the muddling goes on and on.
Are these terrorists a threat? Sure, but so are hurricanes/typhoons/monsoons and they strike more often.
Terrorists become an existential threat only if they acquire serious weapons of mass destruction, so far this is contained, otherwise they’re a bunch of fifth-rate religious wankers who certainly aren’t worth the treasure and blood we’ve spent on not catching them.
